Index Service Task Queue Reader
System-internal index management tasks that trigger indexing, for example, should only be carried out in a certain CM installation in a load-balancing environment. This CM installation must be entered beforehand in the configuration of the index service task queue reader.
In contrast to the content exchange task queue reader , the index service task queue reader carries out tasks that are gathered in a queue.
The index management service is activated.
If index management tasks have already been carried out on any of the CM installations in the load-balancing environment, a corresponding request is written to the index service task queue. The index service task queue reader is now executed on a specified system, and reads the index service task queue once a minute. If a relevant task is found, it is then executed.
The following tasks are executed by the index service task queue reader:
· Indexing
· Deindexing
· Reindexing
· Incremental update of indexes
· Incremental update of indexes by data source
· Taxonomy training with an existing hierarchy
· (For query-based taxonomies): Updating taxonomies
