Selecting Columns for
Display
This function is available in certain layout profiles that you can set for a folder or folder hierarchy.
You can display one or more document properties such as name, popup menu display, or description in a column.
You can toggle between the following views:
· Columns
This view gives you an overview of the pages to be displayed. This allows you to see properties grouped under a column header at a glance.
You can add and remove properties, and change the sequence.
· Properties
This is a detailed view of all properties to be displayed with additional setting options.
The table below displays the setting options in the Properties view:
Name |
Description |
Label |
Name of the document property. |
Share Column |
Specifies whether the property is to be displayed in the same column as the previous property. If you select this checkbox, the property shares the column of the property that is one row above it in the table. |
Heading |
Specifies whether a header is displayed for the column. The name of the property is always used as the header of its column. If there is more than one property in a column, only select one header. |
Inline Label |
Specifies the name of the property within the table cell. This is useful when using table renderers if a table cell contains more than one property. For example, you have a file with a size of 25KB. The system displays the following: Option is deactivated: 25 KB Option is activated: Size: 5 KB |
Crop |
Specifies whether spaces are to be left to the left and right of table cells. |
Content Link |
Specifies whether the property is displayed as a link that you can use to open the content of the object in question. This is useful for the name or symbol (icon). |
Alignment |
Specifies the alignment of the text or symbol within the table cell (left, center, or right alignment). |
Additional Modifiers |
Modifiers allow you to finely tune the depiction of properties. For more
information on modifiers, see |

If you select more than one property, you can move them up or down together.
