Field Services

The Questionnaire and Scoreboard field services allow you to dynamically call data for the corresponding fields. For example, after carrying out a questionnaire for an item, the result of the questionnaire is stored in an item field.

To determine which questionnaire or scoreboard is to be used by items in a bucket, you make settings in the bucket attributes in the portal. For more information, see the Field Service Configuration section in Create New Bucket.

The Object link field service allows you to dynamically call content for item fields from the back-end system.

You can modify the standard links between a field service type and an item field in Customizing for SAP xApp Resource and Portfolio Management (SAP xRPM), by choosing Global Customizing Global Field Settings Check SAP Field Configuration.

You can also define your own links between a field service type and an item field. To make these settings, in Customizing for SAP xApp Resource and Portfolio Management (SAP xRPM), choose Global Customizing Global Field Settings Define Custom Field Configuration.
