Commands for Documents
You copy or move links to documents from one category to another in order to reclassify the documents.
You can upload documents from your local PC to a category of a taxonomy or create documents online in categories. The system stores these documents in a hidden repository and classifies them in the relevant category.

If there are further taxonomies below the index, note the following: If automatic classification for a taxonomy is switched on, the system classifies the document in this taxonomy. If automatic classification is switched off or if the system does not find a suitable category, the document is displayed in the folder Documents to be Classified in this taxonomy.
The categories of a taxonomy only contain links to documents, but do not contain the documents themselves. There are two commands for copying: Copy Link and Copy Target.

The system creates a copy of the target document in the taxonomy data repository and classifies the new document in the target category. With the Copy Target command you create a new document. The system deletes the document classification in the source category and creates a link to the document in the repository. |
If you create, copy or move documents, this always involves a manual classification or declassification. Note that a manual classification or declassification always has priority over an automatic classification.

For example, if you move a document from category A to category B, the system marks the document in category A as Manually Declassified and in category B as Manually Classified.
If there is an automatic classification at a later time, the document is not classified in category A, even if it corresponds to the query or has a higher degree of agreement with the trainings documents. The document remains classified in category B, even if it does not correspond to the query or does not agree with the training documents.
