The information here defines the XML message standard for financial messages that can be sent from the SAP POS solution suite (SAP TGM and SAP TE) to the SAP POS central financial authorization solution, Transnet.

In general, the information we present is based on the ISO8583 standard that has been implemented in XML within SAP POS solutions. In some cases, the XML messages standard we present extends the ISO8583 structure to include information not explicitly defined in the ISO specification. This is based on past SAP POS integration projects with major American financial service providers and Canadian banks.
