Changing the Repository DBMS for PowerDesigner WebLocate this document in the navigation structure

If you decide to change the DBMS on which the repository database is stored, then you must provide an appropriate JDBC driver to allow PowerDesigner Web to connect to the new database.

Procedure

  1. Copy an appropriate JDBC driver to the PowerDesigner Portal 16\Tomcat\webapps\cmr\WEB-INF\lib directory.
  2. From the PowerDesigner Web homepage, click Start of the navigation path Administration Next navigation step Settings Next navigation step Database Server End of the navigation path and update the general parameters to point to the new database.
  3. Restart the PowerDesigner Portal service.
