Accessing the Repository Web ClientsLocate this document in the navigation structure

The new PowerDesigner Web server is installed in tandem with the previously-available PowerDesigner Portal server and both components are controlled by the same service. You can start and stop the servers and the associated service from your Start menu.

To start or stop the servers, navigate to Start of the navigation path Start Next navigation step Programs Next navigation step SAP Next navigation step  PowerDesigner Portal End of the navigation path, and select:

  • Start PowerDesigner Portal, or

  • Stop PowerDesigner Portal.

When the server is running (whether as a service or not):

To access the new PowerDesigner Web, navigate to:

http://<server-name>:<port-number>/powerdesigner-web
Note The default port number is 3030.

To access the older PowerDesigner Portal Web client, navigate to:

http://<server-name>:<port-number>/cmr
Note The default port number is 3030.
