Service Provider for Case Records 

The service provider for case records integrates the case records (linked objects) into a case. To create element types in the service provider for case notes, you have to enter values for the connection parameters of the service provider.

Note about the connection parameter DOC_PROCIDER_SPACE: If you choose the folder by means of the Knowledge Provider, you have to create a content model. You create the content model using a wizard. In the IMG, choose SAP Web Application Server -> Basis Services -> Records Management -> Create Content Model.

Note about the connection parameter MODEL_ID: You have to enter the document ID of the record model on which the case record is based. You must also enter this ID for a case type in the Customizing activity Define Case Types.

In the element type classification (tab page Classification), SAP recommends that you do not assign a Type, as case records are only intended for processing within a case, and not directly from the Organizer. The element type is not displayed in the Organizer unless you assign a type.
