Procedure documentation Creating a New Logon Group  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You can create a new logon group using one of the following two ways:

·        Create a new logon group with no settings;

You then configure the cluster instances and the applications that are part of this group from scratch.

·        Create a new logon group by copying an existing one;

You then modify the settings of the original group. This is a useful method, for example, in case you need your new group to include the same cluster instances but a different application must be accessible within it.
