Procedure documentation Navigating to the Records Planner  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

You use the Records Planner when you want to:

·        Create a new file plan

·        Edit a file plan that you have already created

These activities are described below.

Creating a file plan

       1.      In the Role-Based View area, expand the File plans node.

       2.      Select an element type and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Activity Create.

The Records Planner is displayed. Use (This graphic is explained in the accompanying text) to display your newly created file plan. For the procedure for creating a file plan, see Creating a File Plan.

Editing a file plan that you have already created

File plans that you have created in the Records Modeler automatically appear in the History area of the Records Organizer.

Note

If you edit the file plan regularly, we recommend that you add it to your Favorites list.

Select the file plan in the History or in the Favorites, and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Activity Change. The Records Planner is displayed and you can continue editing the file plan.
