Procedure documentationConfiguring Shared Memory Locate this document in the navigation structure

The shared memory of a Java instance stores monitoring information about applications, browser sessions, Web sessions, processes, EJBs and so on.

You can configure this shared memory via particular properties. They are represented as tables in the SAP Management Console, for example. This procedure also enables you to change the number of the relevant tables rows.

For example, you can change the number of concurrently supported active Java applications, Java processes, threads, EJB sessions and so on.

Note Note

If you change the properties of an instance, the changes applies only to the selected instance.

End of the note.

Start the command line Config Tool by double-clicking the consoleconfig script file in <SAP_install_dir>/<system_name>/<instance_name>/j2ee/configtool directory.
