Mass Processing of Folder Metadata 

Use

With this function, you can select folders in a class in order to change the attribute values of particular metadata at the same time as part of mass processing.

Prerequisites

·        Mass processing of folder metadata is only possible for folders of the same class.

·        The folders to be processed must be assigned in the same class. Folders divided among a number of classes cannot be processed above the higher-level class.     

Procedure

...

       1.      Place the cursor on a class and choose the menu entry Select Folder in the application toolbar using  (Folder).

In the dialog box Select Folder you see an overview of all folders assigned to this class.

       2.      Select all folders in which metadata should be changed and choose  (Select).

       3.      Choose the menu entry Change Folder Attributes in the application toolbar using  (Folder).

In the dialog box Maintain Attributes, all changeable attributes for processing are displayed.

       4.      Change the attribute values according to your requirements and choose  (Save).

Result

The attribute values are changed in all folders selected.
