The CHIP catalog of the Page Builder provides you with a structured view of the different CHIPs. You can select CHIPs from those available in the catalog, and for certain CHIP types you can also create CHIPs directly.

 

The standard CHIP catalog displays the following folders:

  • Favorites

    You can use drag & drop to put your favorite CHIPs together in one folder.

  • Help Center CHIPs

    In this folder you can find the Help Center CHIP provided by SAP.

    To use this CHIP read:Utilizing the Help Center for SAP Business Suite Applications.

  • IFrame CHIPs

    IFrame CHIPs are a component configuration of the Web Dynpro component CHIP_IFRAME_CONFIG. IFrame-CHIPs are URL-based CHIPs to which parameters can be passed.

  • Link CHIPs

    With these CHIPs you can use the URL to embed static Web pages. Parameters cannot be specified here.

    Link CHIPs are a component configuration of the Web Dynpro component CHIP_LINK.

  • Web Dynpro CHIPs

    This folder contains SAP Web Dynpro CHIPs and all other CHIPs available in your system.

    These CHIPs are based on a Web Dynpro component that has been enhanced as a CHIP.
