Function documentation The Shortcuts Tab  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You use the Shortcuts tab to execute a transaction, report, or system command, by choosing it directly from a list of shortcut entries. You also use this tab to maintain these entries and to view various details about their properties.

Prerequisites

Before you can use the Shortcuts tab you must have an SAP GUI installed on your physical machine.

Features

From the Shortcuts tab you can perform the following:

      To start an SAP transaction, command, or report, select a shortcut entry from the list and choose Log on.

      To add a new shortcut entry, choose New Item

The Shortcuts Wizard appears.

      To change an already created shortcut entry, select the entry and choose Change Item….

A dialog box appears containing the following tabs:

       General

       Options

For more information, see the wizard steps 12 through 14.

      To delete a system entry, select it and choose Delete item….

For more information about maintaining shortcut entries, see your SAP GUI Help by opening the SAP Logon and pressing F1.
