A communication party enables you to represent extensive units that exchange messages with each other in collaborative processes, for example a company.
You can assign each communication party one or more communication components and address these components as the sender or receiver of messages.
You can specify alternative identifiers for the communication party so that communication party can be identified by using different, globally valid IDs.

During message processing, the party name in the message header is used to find and analyze the configuration objects relevant for the message. The relevant configuration objects contain the party name in the key.
