To test the message
flow at runtime, you must perform the
configuration in the
Integration Directory.
This involves configuring your process for a specific system landscape, and possibly specifying conditions for forwarding the message to various receivers.
You can
test the configuration
objects you created.

Smaller Business Partner and Subsidiary Integration (with the PCK)
If you use the Partner Connectivity Kit (PCK), you must also perform the configuration in the PCK (for the smaller business partner) to test the message flow at runtime.
