ES Workplace is the central location for viewing consolidated information of all available enterprise services delivered by SAP. It provides various entry points for different roles ranging from architect to process experts. ES Workplace is the starting point for enterprise SOA adoption, from discovery of services to the actual testing and building of composite applications.

You use the ES Workplace to discover and evaluate the enterprise services to:
Gain an insight into the wide range of enterprise services that SAP offers with its SAP Business Suite
Check whether a specific business scenario or solution component is enabled by enterprise services from SAP
Test the enterprise service interfaces and operations in a hosted environment
There are different ways to discover enterprise services on the ES Workplace. You can view by the enterprise services index which is grouped by process components or ES bundles. Alternately, you can browse by business context within the appropriate Solution Map.
You have registered for a user in the SAP Developer Network (SDN) and the Service Marketplace.
To access the ES Workplace, navigate to https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/esworkplace.

You can also browse the ES Workplace by Enterprise Service Bundles or Solution Maps for industries.
Browse for the required enterprise services that you want to download and note down the Software Component Version from the Technical Data table.
For every enterprise service there exist entities such as service interfaces, service operations, business objects, and so on.
Browse for the required entities and note down the software component version.
Use the details of the software component versions to download the enterprise services and their entities from the SAP Software Distribution Center at http://service.sap.com/swdc.
Note
SAP delivers the ESR content and Process Component Architecture models as two different software components. Therefore you will have to download and import them individually. For example, to download the enterprise services for ERP, use the software component version ESM ERP 603 for the model and ECC SE 603 for the content.
You should first import the ESR content and then import the Process Component Architecture models.
