Description of Function

The function Field selection allows you to change the attributes of screen fields dynamically at runtime. You use this special function when you need different attributes for a field on the same screen at different points within an application.

Field selection allows you to alter the attributes Input, Display, Required field, Highlighted, and Invisible at runtime.

You can also make your field attribute assignments change dynamically depending on the attributes of other fields.

Restrictions

Field selection must be implemented by an application developer
