Settings 

Use

You use Settings to display and define the background job for tests. This job transfers the test data in the form of log records to the database.

To open the settings, choose Administration → Settings.

Features

To change the settings, choose  with the quick info text Display <-> Change.

The system displays the background job automatically as soon as the test is activated for the first time. If there is no background job available, despite a test being active, the Create pushbutton appears next to the Job Name input field.

In the Periodic Background Processing screen area, the following information is displayed:

●      Job Name

●      Period

●      Next Start.

In the Display Options screen area, you can choose whether to display kernel tests.

The batch job for transferring the log records to the database is triggered by the following actions:

●    The Runtime Monitor is started.

●    The current start time of the background job has been reached.

●    In Maintain Tests → Collected Log Records → Display, the Refresh Display is triggered.

●    In Server Status → Transfer Data , the Transfer Data is triggered.
