Function documentation Log Records  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You use this function to process the system log records of several tests simultaneously. You can display the log records in a list or in a hierarchical display and you can choose to delete all or part of them.

Features

The display functions under the Log Records node have the same features as the display functions in Collected Log Records under Test Maintenance. The only difference is that using the Log Records List and Hierarchical Display, you can display and process the log records of more than one test together.

List Display

To display log records in a list, choose Log Records Display Log Records List Display.

Here you can limit the display of log records to selected tests, entries, or programs. Enter the test IDs, the subkey, the time stamp, or the program information and choose Continue.

The system displays all the log records that match your selection criteria.

For each log record, the following information is displayed:

      Runtime Monitor Test ID

      Subkey

      Program name

      Latest date

      Time

      Counter.

Hierarchical Display

To display log records in a hierarchy, choose Log Records Display Log Records Hierarchical Display.

The existing log records of all the test are displayed in a tree. In contrast to Collected Log Records in Test Maintenance, the log records of all active tests are executed.

For more information about the features of the Hierarchical Display, see Collected Log Records.

Delete Log Records

To delete log records, choose Log Records Delete Log Records.

You can delete all or part of the test log records.

You can delete all the log records of a test if you only enter the name of the test in Test ID input field.

You can delete the log record of specific entries or programs that were recorded in a specific time interval.

The number of deleted records is displayed in a separate dialog box.
