Procedure documentation Deactivating a Change List Transport (Integration Directory)  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

If a software component version has been assigned to an XI track in CMS, then in the default setting you can release change lists of this software component version in the ES Builder for transport using CMS. There is only the software component version SAP-INTDIR 7.1 (EXCHANGE DIRECTORY 7.1) for configuration objects for the entire contents of the Integration Directory.

If the change list transport for this software component version is activated, then the open change lists in the Integration Directory return to the status transportable after they have been released and can later be transported using CMS: In this way you can transport smaller changes into the respective target Directory instead of having to transport the entire contents of the Integration Directory. The same applied for this procedure in the Enterprise Services Repository.

If you do not want change lists to be transported by using CMS, you can deactivate this option for the selected software component versions. CMS transports using transport lists or transports using the file system are not affected by this setting, however.

Prerequisites

The software component version SAP-INTDIR 7.1 (EXCHANGE DIRECTORY 7.1)was assigned to an XI track in CMS.

Procedure

Ru...

       1.      Call the start page for the Integration Builder and choose Administration.

       2.      Choose the Repository tab page on the left-hand side.

       3.      Choose CMS transport settings in the navigation area on the left-hand side.

       4.      The system displays a table containing all the software component versions that are assigned to a particular XI track in CMS. To deactivate the change list transport do not select the option for the software component version SAP-INTDIR 7.1 (EXCHANGE DIRECTORY 7.1) in the column Support Changelist Transport.

       5.      Save your changes.

Result

Open change lists in the Integration Directory return, shortly after their release, directly to closed status, without the changes being transferred to CMS. If the Integration Directory contained any change lists with the status transportable before you made your change, you can either close them without transport on the Change Lists tab page or transport them by using CMS.
