This transaction is used to create certificates.

All ABAP systems (release 7.02 and above) of a customer landscape can be equipped in this way with a uniform certificate. This means that only one single installation certificate needs to be distributed for all white lists of an ABAP system on the different systems. Late changes to one or more white lists must also not be explicitly distributed to the other systems.

Note Note

If an obsolete certificate was overwritten then the new certificate must be redistributed to all end users.

Prerequisites

Ensure that you have imported SAP Note 510007 - SSL Library - because otherwise error Certificate cannot be read appears.

Procedure

  1. Start the procedure using one of the following navigation options:

    Customizing Menu

      Customizing   SAP NetWeaver   Application Server   Web Dynpro ABAP   Generate Certificate for White List  

    Transaction

    WDR_ACF_GEN_CERT

  2. Choose Generate New Certificate.

  3. Choose the Execute button (F8).

Result

The certificate was created for the white list.
