You use the alert monitor of the Computing Center Management System (CCMS) for PI to monitor the following components:

      ABAP components

      qRFC queues

      Java components (Enterprise Services Repository, Integration Directory, Runtime Workbench, Adapter Engines, Partner Connectivity Kit (PCK), System Landscape Directory)

      Business Process Engine

The monitor contains the following tree elements for monitored Java components:

Tree Element

Meaning

<SystemID>

System ID of monitored system

Java Components

Subtree containing the Java components of the monitored system

Heartbeats

Subtree containing the GRMG data for the corresponding components (heartbeat scenarios). GRMG stands for Generic Request and Message Generator.

<Component> Heartbeat

Heartbeat scenario

Self-Monitoring: Scenario <scenario>

Subtree for self-monitoring of the respective component (heartbeat scenario)

Run Status <component> Heartbeat

Information on the execution status of the corresponding component

Scenario executed successfully

Execution status of the scenario

Run Status / Error Messages

Error message in the case of an error

<Component>

Name of the monitored component

<ComponentID> <host_name>

Host on which the monitored component is running

<ComponentID> <host_name> <instance_number>

Instance on which the monitored component is running

Availability

Availability of the component

Status

Heartbeat status of the component
