Checking Transport Requests
Guided Procedures (GP) content can be created and designed in one system and transported into another. The GP Monitor allows you to view the existing transport requests created as an export or received as an import in the transport system of Guided Procedures. You can check what GP content was deployed and whether it was successfully released.
To view the transport requests, open the Transports tab page. The overview is split into two areas: one area for transport requests (Requests) and one for the GP objects (Resources) assigned to each request.
You can search requests that are either Imports or Exports by their start and/or end date. You can monitor when and by which user each request was created or last changed, as well as its status. The status of the requests is as follows:
· Imports – the Finished successfully status means that the transport objects were successfully imported
● Exports – the Open status means that the transport objects were successfully exported to the target system
You can view detailed information about the status of all folders, actions, blocks, callable objects, composite forms and process templates of the respective transport request. The status of the resources of each request can be one of the following:
· Active – the resource has been activated after transport
· After import active – the resource will be activated after the GP content is released
· Deprecated – the GP content cannot be exported because the resource uses an older version of the action. The version of the action has to be updated in the Administration workset.
· After import deprecated – the resource was just imported but is deprecated. If you release the resource, its status will change to Deprecated.
· Unknown
· n/a – the resource is a folder
