Function documentation Navigation Area  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

In the navigation area (on the left-hand side of the application window), the objects are displayed in a tree structure.

Position the cursor on an object to display the object key in a quick-info box. See also: Creating an Object

The objects are grouped by the following:

·        Party

Displays the objects of the collaboration profile. The hierarchy is as follows:

Party     Service      Communication Channel

·        Message mapping

·        Sender agreement

·        Receiver agreement

Updates the content of the selected subtree

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Open Search

Opens an input field for a search function that enables you to search for a string in the navigation tree. To start the search, enter a string and choose Begin Search (This graphic is explained in the accompanying text).

The search begins at the selected point in the navigation tree. If the search is unsuccessful, it is performed again, starting at the top structure node.

Hides the input field for the search function

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Only Display Selected Subtree

Displays the selected subtree but hides the rest of the navigation tree

Displays the previous subtree

Expands the selected subtree fully so that all the objects it contains are visible

Fully collapses the selected subtree

Sorts the objects in the selected subtree in ascending order

Note

You can apply the same context menu function to multiple objects at the same time. To do so, select the objects with the cursor and while holding down the SHIFT key, call the function in the context menu.
