Portal

Change

More Information

By default, the PortalAlias cookie is sent to users using a non-secure protocol. You can now set the PortalAlias cookie to be delivered using a secure protocol, such as HTTPS or SSL.

You configure this in the following portal application and service:

  • Application: com.sap.portal.navigation.AliasService

  • Service: AliasService

  • Property: portal.alias.security.enforce_secure_cookie

Change the parameter value from false to true.

Portal URL Aliases

By default the portal allows the user to log using the IP address of the portal instead of the fully qualified portal server name.

It is now possible to block logon by IP address in the following portal application and service:

  • Portal application: com.sap.portal.navigationportallauncher

  • Portal service: PortalLauncherService

  • Parameter: Enable IP Access to the Portal

Change the parameter value from true to false.
