Function documentation Loaded Programs (Global Data)  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You use the Loaded Programs tool to displays all loaded programs in the current internal session and the current values and attributes of all global variables of the loaded programs.

Note

To open the Loaded Programs tool, open the New Tool dialog box and choose Loaded Programs (Global Data).

Features

The Loaded Programs tool consists of the following tab pages:

Loaded Programs

This tab page displays the names of all loaded programs and their attributes. The table of loaded programs consists of the following information:

      Current Program

The current program is indicated by This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with the quick info text Current Program.

      Program Group Header

      The column contains all programs that head a program group are indicated by This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with the quick info text Head of a Prg. Group. If you choose this icon, a dialog box appears in which you can see all of the program group’s programs.

      Prog. Type

The program types are indicated by icons with the following quick info texts:

       Program

       Type pool

       Class

       Interface

System programs are colored in blue.

      Program Name

The column contains the name of the compilation unit (program). System programs are displayed in blue. If you double-click this program name, the system displays it in the Source Code display.

      Attributes of Program

If you chooseThis graphic is explained in the accompanying text with the quick info text Program Attributes, the attributes of the program are displayed in a dialog box.

      Header of Program Group

This column displays the program that heads the program group. If you double-click this program name, the system displays it in the Source Code display.

      Navigation to Global Variables

If you choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with the quick info text Global Data, the system opens the Global Data tab page and displays the global data of the selected program.

      Original language

The column contains the language code of its original language

      Load Size

The column contains the size of the compilation

      Last Change (Date) and Last Changed (Time)

The column contains the time stamp when the program including its dependent components was last changed.

Global Data

This tab page is divided into the following screen areas:

      On the left there is a list of the loaded programs.

If you double-click a program in the list, the global variables of this program is displayed in the right screen area.

      On the right, the system displays the global variables of a program.

This screen area provides complete information about the variables. If you double-click the variable name, the system automatically opens the corresponding detailed display.

Tool Services

You can use the additional services of the Loaded Programs tool by choosing This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with the quick info text Services of the Tool.

A dialog appears that contains the Tool-Specific service Hide or Display System Programs

If you choose this service, the system hides or displays all system programs from the Loaded Programs list.
