Configure integration process  

Function

When you configure an integration process, you adapt it for your system landscape.

Prerequisites

You have defined the integration process. If you have also defined a process integration scenario (PI scenario), you can use the PI scenario configurator to help you configure the integration process. This guides you through the configuration. It is advisable to use the PI scenario configurator as described below. Otherwise, you have to perform each of the steps manually.

Procedure

       1.      In the Integration Directory, you create an integration process component for the integration process and each of the business systems involved.

       2.      You define a PI scenario that references the PI scenario in the Enterprise Services Repository.

       3.      You call the PI scenario configurator from the PI scenario.

Result

You have configured the integration process so that it is ready to run and can be started when a start message is received.
