This graphic is explained in the accompanying text How to place an object  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Procedure

You can place the modeling toolbar objects into your model.

Procedure

...

       1.      Click on an object symbol in the modeling toolbar.

       2.      Click on the position in the model window where you want to place the object.

       3.      Enter the desired name. A new object definition is created. If you have enabled the Check uniqueness when renaming objects ( Personal Settings Modeling area, Objects tab page) check box, a check determines whether the name you enter has already been used. If it already exists, the Select object dialog box is displayed for you to decide whether you want to use an existing object or create a new object with the same name. To use an existing object, enter at least two letters and click on the Definition selection button (This graphic is explained in the accompanying text) or press the Tab key. If you select an existing object, an occurrence of that object will be created.

       4.      Once you have entered or selected a name, press Enter or click outside the object.

Result

If you have set a grid, the object symbol is placed in line with the grid width.
