Configuring the Sender XI Adapter
You configure a sender XI adapter on the Integration Server so that a PCK can send messages to the Integration Server.

1. The Transport Protocol is HTTP 1.0.
2. The Message Protocol on the Integration Server is XI 3.0.
The Message Protocol in the PCK is XI.
3. On the Integration Server, the Adapter Engine is called Integration Server.
This selection is not available in the PCK.
4. If you want to make additional settings for Web services security in the relevant sender agreement on the Integration Server or in the PCK, choose Select Security Profile.
The Security Profile is Web Services Security.

The following input options are only available in the PCK:
6. Under Persist Duration, specify the length of time in days, hours, minutes, and seconds that asynchronous messages are to be stored in the Adapter Framework message store, depending on the communication channel.
In asynchronous message processing, the Persist Durationmust correspond to at least the product of Number of Retries and Retry Interval.
7. Under Number of Retries, define how often an attempt should be made to send an asynchronous message from the Integration Server to the PCK when errors occur.
8. Under Retry Interval, specify the time interval in days, hours, minutes, and seconds, after which the system should make another attempt to forward an asynchronous message from the Integration Server to the PCK.
9. Under Timeout, specify the time period in days, hours, minutes, and seconds, after which synchronous message processing is to time out.
