Transporting Alert Categories 
You can transport alert categories in order to make them available in other systems.
To transport alert categories the following prerequisites have to be met:
In the Client s Overview(transaction SCC4) choose Details. The setting Automatic recordings of changes has to be selected in the group box Changes and Transports for Client-Specific Objects.
There must exist the corresponding transport connection.
To transport alert categories proceed as follows:
Open the ALM customizing transaction ALRTCATDEF.
Choose or Transport all alert categories.
You are asked to specify a customizing request.
Choose an existing customizing request or create a new one.
You can check in transaction SE09, if the category was inserted into the customizing request.
