Test Import
In the TEST_IMPORT step, Support Package Manager checks whether the objects in the Support Package queue can be imported without any errors. Errors occur if objects are in tasks that have not been released yet, and would be overwritten during the import process if transport objects do not match the system (due to incorrect include numbers for function modules or non-permitted tables contents, for example) or if transport control program tp does not run without errors.
You are testing the import of the Support Package queue.
Use the information from the test import log to analyze the cause of the error.
You have the following options:
Correct the error. Once you have done this, you can continue the import process by choosing on the initial screen in Support Package Manager.
Skip the error. To do this, go to the initial screen in Support Package Manager and choose .
Caution
You must be careful here. If you ignore errors during the test run –regardless of what caused them –they may occur again when you import the objects in the IMPORT_PROPER step. This can cause serious problems. If, for example, repair requests remain open, or if you are importing just one Support Package, you must not ignore the test import errors. If you import multiple Support Packages in a queue, and suspect that the error messages are due to this queue, check the latest OCS Note on known errors in your release to find out whether you can ignore the errors. SAP Note 97620 contains an overview of the most important OCS Notes.
