Using the PCD Path as the Namespace Convention

You can base the namespace in an ID on the object's location in the PCD.

For example, if you create an object in the folder structure portal_content myFolder1 myFolder2 , the namespace is required to be myFolder1.myFolder2.

Procedure

In the NamingConventionsSrv service, set the following properties:

Activate namespaces: true
Mode: path

Result

Administrators can no longer enter any namespace for an object, but must base the namespace on the path of the object.
