The SLD configuration is already included in the standard AS Java installation and configuration procedure. However, in some cases, the SLD configuration has to be changed. This section describes where to set the essential parameters to set up or reconfigure an SLD.
For more information about general SLD configuration topics, see the Planning Guide - System Landscape Directory at http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/nw-sld.

To receive data that is automatically reported and sent by the SLD data suppliers running on individual systems, you have to configure and start the SLD bridge. The SLD bridge converts the system data sent by the SLD data suppliers to the SLD server into a CIM-compliant format.
