Changing Column Width 

Use

You can set up your application in such a way that you can change the width of the columns.

You can find out whether it is possible to change the column width in a list. To do this, position the mouse pointer on the vertical border between two column titles. If the mouse pointer changes to a double-headed arrow  , it is possible to change the column width.

Procedure

       1.      Position the mouse pointer on the vertical border to the right of the column header of the column whose width you want to change.

       2.      Use drag and drop to move the line until the column has the required width. Release the mouse button.

Result

The column to the left of the line has a new width. All columns to the right of the changed column retain their widths if possible. If necessary, the column on the outer right-hand edge of the list is made wider or narrower accordingly. The columns have a predefined minimum width that is not undercut.
