Use

To find errors that have occurred and establish what caused them

Prerequisites

You have started your SAP NetWeaver Administrator and have chosen Configuration Management Infrastructure Web Service Configuration Message Monitoring.

Procedure

Message monitoring has two different modes for searching for Web service messages in the database:

      Standard mode

      Advanced mode

In each mode, you can restrict the number of Web service messages to be displayed.

Searching in Standard Mode

In standard mode, you can use a particular message status to search for Web service messages that were processed within a particular time period.

...

       1.      Select the required message status.

       2.      Select the time period that the search is to cover.

       3.      Start the search.

Searching in Advanced Mode

In advanced mode, you can use various selection types with different selection criteria to search for messages.

...

...

       1.      To navigate to advanced mode, choose Advanced in standard mode.

       2.      Select the required selection type and enter your selection criteria.

You can Reset values selected or entered.

You can refresh the table, select specific Web service messages, and:

display the details (attributes with values) of the message

display the content of the message

view the audit log of the message
