Transporting Objects of Different Tools 

Function

The procedure described here explains how you export objects of different tools and include them in a CTS transport request. You can put the following objects in a transport request:

●      ES Repository design objects

●      Integration Directory configuration objects

●      ABAP Mappings

Prerequisites

To perform the export the WBO_REL_REQ_STRATEGY parameter for your PI system must be set to Manual (more information: Changing the Standard Settings for Source Systems).

The prerequisites specified in Transporting Objects also apply here.

Procedure

       1.      Export the objects of a tools, but do not release the corresponding transport request in CTS.

       2.      Use the transport request from the last step to add other objects from other tools for a transport.

       3.      To transport objects to the target system, release the transport request. More information: Releasing Transport Requests

Result

The objects included in the transport request are transported to the target system together. After a successful transport you can import the objects into the target system using CTS.
