       1.      Open the SLAD Cockpit (transaction SLAD).

       2.      Select the Profiles tab page and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with the quick info text Create profile.

A dialog box appears.

       3.      Enter the name of the new profile and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with the quick info text Enter.

You can add (optionally) a description of the new profile and specify an application component to which the new profile is attached.

If you specify an application component, your profile is added to the application component hierarchy which you can see on the left-hand side of the SLAD initial screen.

Note

The Description and Application Component fields only make sense for transportable objects.

The maintenance screen of the profile appears.

       4.      Specify the object sets that you want to add to the new profile.

To assign an object set to the profile, you can perform the following:

       You can add an existing object set using the F4 help for the relevant field of the Object Set column.

       You can drag and drop an existing object set from the navigation tree.

       You can also assign a new object set to the profile. To do this, enter the name of the new object set in the relevant field of the Object Set column. The Create Object Set dialog box appears.

       5.      Specify the debugger behavior by setting the indicators in the following columns: Visible, Point of Entry, Point of Exit, Including System Code.

       6.      To check your profile, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with the quick info text Check Profile.

The system displays all errors and warnings in an application log.

       7.      Save the profile and assign it to a package.
