Consistency Checks
You use this function to perform consistency checks and to attempt to repair inconsistencies.
You use the Monitor function to display the results of the checks.

To display the Consistency Checks screen, expand the Administration node and choose Consistency Checks.
● Servers
If you select Check Status of All Servers, the system checks whether the collect status in the shared memory matches the status in the database.
If the status does not match, you can select the Repair checkbox to attempt to fix the inconsistencies.
· Background Jobs
You use background jobs to initialize the Coverage Analyzer and to ensure that it performs data collection without interruptions.
If you select Check Status of Background Jobs, the system checks whether all the background jobs of the Coverage Analyzer are activated.
If you select the Repair checkbox, all background jobs are rescheduled.
· Tables
If the Coverage Analyzer fails on an application server due to a system error, tables become inconsistent.
If you select the Check Table Consistency, the system checks whether the name and the number of processing blocks or the number of resets is correct.
If you select the Repair checkbox, you can correct table inconsistencies.
· Processing Blocks
If you select Check Processing Blocks, the system checks the consistency of processing blocks.

This is a very time-consuming function.
If you select the Repair checkbox, the system attempts to repair inconsistent processing blocks.

The Repair function also bridges the gap between activating and generating a program. This means, for example, that the active indicator for the Unicode check is not displayed until a program has been generated, although it was already valid when the program was activated. The current processing blocks are not displayed until the program has been generated.
