Importing Certificate and Key From the File System 

Use

You can also use the Key Storage for import and export of the certificates and the keys that you have created. Since the Security Provider service of the AS Java and the Key Storage service are connected, in this way you can successfully apply a key or certificate to a security role and influence the security of the whole system, that is the AS Java or the security of a deployed to the AS Java application.

Procedure

...

       1.      In the Content tab choose the view in which you want to import the certificate or the key.

       2.      In the View Entries tab choose Import From File.

       3.      The Entry Import dialog appears.

       4.      Select the type of the entry you want to import from the Select entry type dropdown list. You have 3 choices:

○       X.509

○       PKCS#12 Key Pair

○       PKCS#8 Key Pair

       5.      Choose Import.

Result

The entry is imported in the key storage.
