Function documentation Active Status Bar  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You can use the active status bar to perform different actions such as switching to capital and lowercase letters, opening the Go To Line dialog box or copying the name of the document in the clipboard and so on.

Features

You can see the active status bar at the bottom of the editor screen. Panels in the active status bar indicate the status of the Caps Lock, Num Lock, and Overwrite modes. You can change switch these modes on and off by double-clicking on them.

      Go To Line

You can call this dialog by double-clicking on the position panel.

      Caps Lock

You can switch on and off the Caps Lock functionality by double-clicking on the CAP panel.

      Num

You can switch on and off the Num functionality by double-clicking on the NUM panel.

      Copy to clipboard

You can copy the name of the document in the clipboard by double-clicking on the panel with the document name.

      Insert mode

You can switch the caret to insert mode by choosing OVR panel. The panel changes to INS.

      Overwrite mode

You can switch the caret to overwrite mode by choosing INS panel. The panel changes to OVR.
