Not Recommended and Obsolete Integration Techniques Locate this document in the navigation structure

 

For historical reasons, forms that were created based on obsolete integration technologies can exist. There are also special cases that are for SAP internal use only.

  • ACF-based forms

    Caution Caution

    The integration of ACF-based PDF forms in Web Dynpro ABAP is deprecated. See also SAP Note 1249189.

    We expressly recommend only implementing ZCI forms with XML interfaces.

    New Adobe standard objects are now only available for ZCI (Native) based forms.

  • Forms with ABAP Dictionary-based interfaces can only be used as print forms.

  • We do not recommend binding the pdfSource for interactive forms and it is not permitted for ZCI-based forms (PDF-only scenario).
