If your CHIP is to support tagging, here you can create tags for inports and outports and for the respective parameters. You can provide inports and outports and their parameters with tags.

  • The tagging of inports and outports enables automatic wiring between two CHIPs.

  • The tagging of inport parameters enables automatic wiring between Web Dynpro context attributes with tags and inport parameters, as is required for the connection between a Web Dynpro application and a side panel.

  • The tagging of outport parameters presently has no significance.

Procedure

  1. Choose Show Tags for the required port or parameter.

  2. Enter a unique name for the tag.
