Use

You can adjust how a record is displayed in the Record Browser to suit your own requirements.

Features

To call the user-specific settings in the Records Browser menu, choose Record -> User-Specific Settings.

The dialog box has three tab pages, as described below.

Display

You have the following options:

·        You can display the underlying record model for the record in the upper part of the screen..

If you do not choose this option, you can only see the record model in the Records Modeler. To see the key for the record model, choose Record -> Administration -> Associated Record Model (Key).

·        You can display the record attributes in the upper part of the screen.

If you do not choose this option, you can view the attributes by activating the Attributes button in the dialog box.

·        You can choose whether or not structure elements in the record can be expanded.

Structure elements are elements that contains other elements (such as subrecords). You can use this setting to specify whether the structure elements can be expanded and edited within the parent record.

Record Column Selection

You can define which columns the record overview tree should have, that is, how much information will be displayed for the various record elements. You can also define the position (column number) and width of each column. The columns that you can select are as follows:

Column Heading

Meaning

Record Entry

Node symbol and ID

Technical Node Key

Unique runtime ID, only of interest to developers

Structure Element

Flag that this element has subelements

Element Type

The element type assigned to the element

(one or more element types can be assigned to a model node)

Attributes Available

Flag that indicates that this element has node attributes

Visibility

User roles for which the node is visible

Relations

Description of the relation (relations can only be maintained in the record model)

Last Processing

User name of the last user to make changes to the node, and time/date of the last change

Node ID (model)

Number of the node in the underlying record model

Node ID (record)

Unique number of the node in the record

Status

Status of the element (only relevant if the underlying Service fort he element publishes a status)

Creation (Element)

Date and time at which the element assigned to the node was created

Created by (Element)

User name of the user who created the element assigned to the node

Change (Element)

Date and time that the to the element assigned to the node was last changed

Changed by (Element)

User name of the user who last changed the element assigned to the node

Semantic Type

Technical concept that characterizes the element semantically. (Unlike customizable types, semantic types are published by the Service Providers)

Model Column Selection

This setting is only relevant if you have chosen the option Display Model on the Display tab page.

You can define which columns the record overview tree should have for the displayed record model, that is, how much information will be displayed for the various elements in the model.
