What are the special features for inheriting object symbols? 

Use

If you assign a default symbol to objects, the appropriate symbol is used in each of the different models.

If you assign the Diskette default symbol to an object of the Information carrier type and pass this on, the diskette symbol is used in models of the EPC and Office Process type.

As different diskette symbols are used in these model types, passing on object symbols has the effect that the model type-relevant object symbol is used.
