Managing Process
Instances
The Process Instance Manager allows you to manage Guided Procedures (GP) process instances by:
● Assigning standard process roles to additional users for each process instance
● Terminating process instances
● Completing steps in process instances
● Deleting process instances
Using the search function available in the Administration workset, you can find process instances based on specific search criteria.

1. Navigate to Administration → Maintain Processes.
You can choose from the following search modes:
○ All Processes
On this tab page, you can search for both multiple-instance and single-instance processes. To narrow your search, you need to provide information about process name, status and contributors.

When you create the process template in the design time, you determine whether the process is going to be a single-instance or a multiple-instance process at runtime.

○ Single process
This tab page helps you find single-instance processes only. To perform the search, provide an instance name and a process contributor.
○ By Template
On this tab page, you can view all available process templates and use them to filter instances by template.
2. To perform the search, choose Find.
The Search Result screen lists all hits of your search. To each of the process instances in the list, you can apply the following options:
● Grant Authorization
You can add users for each of the process roles available for the process instance. Select the required process instance, and choose Change Authorization.

● Terminate Instances
You can terminate any of the process instances displayed. This means that no tasks are available for the process instance. To do this, select all required process instances, and choose Terminate Instances.
● Complete Step
You can complete steps and actions of any running process instances displayed. To do this, select a process instance and choose Complete Step. Then select all actions you want to complete and choose Next.
● Delete Instances
You can delete any of the process instances by selecting one or more of them and choosing Delete Instances.
