Changing Properties for the CPA Cache

For the PCK, changes to the properties of the Java EE service XPI Service: CPA Cacheare required.

The following properties of the service XPI Service: CPA Cache are relevant to the Partner Connectivity Kit (PCK):

Name	Description
cacheType	Possible values are: PCK or DIRECTORY The default is set during installation. It specifies, whether the CPA Cache service runs in the PCK (Partner Connectivity Kit) mode or as the basis of a central or non-central Adapter Framework. This property must be set to PCK.
SLDAccess	Value type: Boolean Default: false for the PCK All SLD-related properties are not relevant for the PCK, since the PCK has no SLD access. This property is set during installation. It must not be changed.

It specifies, whether the CPA Cache service runs in the PCK (Partner Connectivity Kit) mode or as the basis of a central or non-central Adapter Framework.

This property must be set to PCK.

SLDAccess

Value type: Boolean

Default: false for the PCK

All SLD-related properties are not relevant for the PCK, since the PCK has no SLD access.

This property is set during installation. It must not be changed.

Procedure

Start the SAP NetWeaver Administrator on your PCK host.
Choose Configuration Management Infrastructure Java System Properties Details Services .
Select the service XPI Service: CPA Cache.
On the Properties tab page, assign the value false to the property SLDAccess, and the value PCK to the property cacheType.
Choose Start & Stop: Java EE Se rviceto restart the service and adopt the changed values.
Restart AS Java.
