In this section you get a summary of the configuration tasks and objects required for Integration Server communication. The graphic shows which configuration objects (blue text) are required for the configuration and which for message processing (yellow text).

Defining a collaboration profile

In the collaboration profile you specify which components communicate with each other and what their technical communication capabilities are.

Configuring inbound processing on the Integration Server

Here you enter for a specific sender/receiver pair which sender adapter (or channel) is to be used for the inbound processing of a message. In addition, you can specify security settings.

In routing specify which receiver messages from the Integration Server are to be sent to.

In a receiver determination you specify the receiver components (usually business systems) for a message. You can configure the forwarding of a message to the receiver depending on the application data in the message.

In an interface determination you specify to which inbound interfaces of a receiver a message is to be forwarded. If necessary, you can also specify here which mapping is to be executed.

Configuring outbound processing on the Integration Server
