Welcome Page 

When starting the Developer Studio after the installation, you will see a window with the Welcome screen. The Welcome screen guides a new user thru the various aspects of the Developer Studio.

Quick start tutorials for the different SAP development technologies, like Web Dynpro, CAF and GP, as well as for standard Java technologies, like JEE5.

Further information of the different components in the Developer Studio and the Java application server.

●      Workbench

Closes the Welcome page and open the Eclipse Workbench.

 

To close the Welcome screen choosing the X icon of the view (next to the view title Welcome). The Welcome page can be accessed subsequently by choosing Help → Welcome in the Workbench main menu bar. When you close the Welcome page by choosing the Workbench icon the topic icons (overview, tutorials and so on) are placed in the lower right corner of the status bar and can be accessed any time.
