The SAP Tools in the Developer Studio are organized. This enables application developers to focus on specific tasks.
The following SAP perspectives are available in the current release of the Developer Studio:
· SAP Management Console
Tools to administer the SAP NetWeaver Application Server.
· Composite Application
Perspective to develop with the Composite Application Framework (CAF).
· Web Dynpro
Perspective to develop Web Dynpro for Java applications and views for composite applications.
· Java EE
Perspective to develop J2EE and JEE5 applications.
· Dictionary
Perspective to create and modify data types, structures and tables.
· Development Infrastructure
Tools to work with the SAP’s Component Model.
· Design Time Repository
Tools to work with the Design Time Repository.
To open a perspective choose the command Window → Open Perspective. You than can select the perspective from the menu. If the required perspective is not in the list, choose Other… and than select the required perspective.
To set preferences for a perspective choose the command Window → Preferences… → General → Editors →Perspective.
